“MedeAnalytics, Emeryville, Calif., has collaborated with Financial Healthcare Systems LLC, Denver, to develop an application designed to help hospitals make more accurate estimates of patient’s out-of-pocket expenses.

“The FHSClearQuote application, to be marketed as part of MedeAnalytics’ Patient Access Services, prepares estimates based on historical claims data, third-party contract terms and insurance benefits information.

“In other news, MedeAnalytics announced that Orlando Health, a Florida delivery system, is now using the firm’s full MedeAnalytics suite. In addition, University of Washington Medicine, Seattle, will use the firm’s quality and compliance analytics.”
