Orlando Health Adds MedeAnalytics
Clinical Performance Manager Solution
Physician transparency drives clinical, financial and quality initiatives
EMERYVILLE, Calif., March 1, 2010 — MedeAnalytics, a leading provider of healthcare performance management solutions, announced at HIMSS10 in Atlanta, Ga. that Orlando Health has added Clinical Performance Manager (CPM) to its suite of MedeAnalytics solutions.
Leveraging the CPM solution, Orlando Health is able to implement a corporate physician reappointment dashboard in support of ongoing credentialing policies and processes. The organization and clinical leadership will be able to monitor attending physician and consultant case volume, and surgical and specialty procedure volumes, as well as key clinical, quality and financial performance indicators, such as average length of stay, core measures compliance rates and direct cost per case.
“Orlando Health is partnering with MedeAnalytics to build an at-a-glance view of physician practice data that provides a more efficient way to address Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) and physician reappointment,” commented Orlando Health’s Director, Corporate Clinical Improvement and Patient Safety Officer Dianne Cosgrove. “Hospital and physician leadership will have the ability to quickly identify best practices, and conversely, practices that may need to be looked at in a more detailed manner in order to validate quality, evidence-based care.”
“Orlando Health is a leading provider of quality healthcare in the U.S. and we are proud to be of continuing service,” said Mike Gallagher, chief executive officer of MedeAnalytics. “Consolidating the disparate physician practice data into a single view enhances efficiencies, quality and outcomes. We are pleased to be of assistance in their effort.”
