Travel and Hotel

Client summit attendees are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. MedeAnalytics has contracted with the InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco to offer guests a special rate.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: MedeAnalytics has reserved a block of rooms at a special group rate. You can make reservations online using the hotel link below or by calling the hotel. Reference the group code “NO5” when making reservations online or by phone.

The block of rooms will be held until October 28, 2009. After this date, reservations at the group rate will be accepted on a space and/or rate available basis only. The group rates are as follows:

King Bed Deluxe Room: $159* for either a single or double rate

* Rates do not include a 14% current hotel occupancy tax and a Tourism District Assesment Fee of 1.5%, which is subject to change. There will be an additional person charge of $30.00 for triple occupancy.

CANCELLATIONS: In the event that you need to cancel your reservation, please make every effort to notify the hotel at least 72 hours prior to your date of arrival. Reservations can only be cancelled by calling the hotel directly and obtaining a cancellation number from a reservation agent.

Getting There — Directions

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is approximately 14 miles (21 minutes) from the InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco. Click here for directions from SFO via Google Maps>

From the Bay Bridge, Highway 80 & Oakland Airport:
Follow signs to San Francisco/Bay Bridge. From the two right lanes on the bridge take the first exit (Fremont Street). Stay on Fremont Street until it crosses Market Street (3 blocks). Fremont turns into Front Street. Take Front Street 2 blocks to California Street, make a left on California Street, and go up the hill (8-9 blocks) to California and Mason Streets. The hotel is on the left side at California and Mason.

From the Golden Gate Bridge:
Take the Golden Gate Bridge to the Lombard Street exit (straightaway exit); continue on Lombard to Van Ness Avenue. Turn right on Van Ness and continue to Clay Street. Make a left turn onto Clay and continue 6 blocks until you come to Taylor Street. Turn right onto Taylor, go 2 blocks to California Street, and make a left turn onto California. The hotel is located 1 block up on the right side at the corner of California and Mason Streets.

From the Peninsula/SFO Airport:
Take the 101 North Freeway to the 9th Street/Civic Center exit. Stay in the left two lanes on the exit, in order to continue straight onto 9th Street. Stay in the right hand lanes. After 5 to 6 blocks, cross Market Street, 9th becomes Larkin (a one-way street). Go up Larkin to California Street (about 8 or 9 blocks). Turn right onto California Street and travel 5 blocks until you come to Mason Street. The hotel is on the right side at the corner of California and Mason Streets.

Traveling by Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) from the East Bay:
Disembark at the Embarcadero exit and go up to street level. You will be at California and Davis Streets. From there you can take a cable car or a taxi up California Street to California and Mason Streets. The hotel is on the left side at the corner of California and Mason.

Taxi Cabs:
Should you choose a cab for transportation, the approximate cost from San Francisco International Airport to the Mark Hopkins is $40.00 (US). The approximate cost from Oakland International Airport is $65.00 (US)

Airport signage in the airport baggage claim area clearly directs visitors to the taxi stand.

Door-to-Door Shuttles:
SFO Airport Express departs from the Mark Hopkins each half hour from 4:30 am until 10:00 pm daily. Reservations for this service are required with the Concierge at extension 6160, Guest Relations at extension 6987 or the Front Desk at extension 6187.
